Scotland to face Germany, Switzerland and Hungary in Euro 2024
Group A draw revealed
Steve Clarke's side will face a tough test in Group A of Euro 2024 after being drawn against Germany, Switzerland and Hungary.
Scotland will face Germany in their opening game on June 14, before taking on Switzerland on June 18 and Hungary on June 22. The Scots will be hoping to reach the knockout stages for the first time since 1996.
Germany will be the favourites to win the group, but Scotland will be confident of causing an upset. The Scots have a good record against Germany, having won four of their last eight meetings.
Switzerland will also be a tough opponent. The Swiss reached the quarter-finals of the 2018 World Cup and will be looking to build on that success in Euro 2024.
Hungary will be the underdogs in the group, but they will be no pushovers. The Hungarians reached the last 16 of Euro 2016 and will be looking to make another impact in the tournament.
