Education and Early Career

Stephanopoulos pursued his education at Columbia University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. In 1992, he joined Bill Clinton's presidential campaign, eventually becoming Communications Director for the White House. During his tenure, Stephanopoulos played a pivotal role in shaping Clinton's public image and handling media relations.

Broadcast Journalism Career

After leaving the White House, Stephanopoulos transitioned to broadcast journalism. In 2002, he joined ABC News as a co-anchor of "Good Morning America," where his engaging reporting and interviewing skills quickly made him a household name. Stephanopoulos also hosts "This Week," ABC's Sunday morning political talk show, providing in-depth analysis and commentary on current events.
